Brent Eugene Hahn, 60, of 1601 Dual Highway in Hagerstown, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.
     Born Dec. 6, 1941, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of Willie Eugene Hahn of Frederick, Md., and the late Elva Marybell Main Hahn.
     He was a 1959 graduate of Brunswick High School.
He was employed as assistant manager by Funkstown American Legion Post 211; and was previously employed by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 and Washington County AMVETS Post 10.
     He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the Marksmanship Medal.
He had a band, Silvertones, and played in other bands, including country and western.
     He was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42; VFW Post 1936 and a past member of the Color and Honor Guards; Williamsport Red Men; Conococheague Tribe 84; and AMVETS Post 10 and a past captain of the Color and Honor Guards.
     He is survived by his wife, Dee Hahn; one daughter, Stacey Hahn of Charlotte, N.C.; one son, Jason Hahn of Fort Lawn, S.C.; one stepdaughter, Belinda King of Hagers-town; one stepson, Jimmy Showe II of Hagerstown; two sisters, Joyce Kanche of Tigard, Ore., and DeeEtte Crutchley of Brunswick, Md.; one grandchild; seven stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; one cousin and one aunt.
     Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Clyde Hardin will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, with military honors by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 and AMVETS Post 10.
     The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
