     Homer Eli Selby, 75, of 715 E. B St., died Monday, May 15, 2000, at Frederick Health Care Center in Frederick, Md
.Born Oct. 31, 1924, in Brunswick, he was the son of George Franklin and Gladys Sample Selby.  His wife, Anna Belle Hite Selby, died in December 1999
     He was a 1943 graduate of Brunswick High School. He retired in 1980 after 36 years with the Chessie System at Brunswick where he worked as a brakeman. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in World War II.
     He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick. He was a member of United Trainmen Union.
He is survived by nephews, Mark Stephenson and Curt Selby, both of Brunswick; and other nieces and nephews Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick.
     The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home which will be open from 9 a.m.
