Mr. Irvin Hebb

     Mr. Irvin Franklin Hebb, 82, of Brunswick, died May 16, 2008, at his residence. He was born Dec. 23, 1925, in Sharpsburg, to Richard Franklin and Anna Mary Benner Hebb.
     Mr. Hebb served as a retired conductor with the B&O Railroad, with 43 years service in Brunswick.
He was a member of VFW Post, No. 10421 and the Steadman-Kennan, Post No. 96 of the American Legion, both in Brunswick.
     He was a veteran from World War II in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Hebb is survived by his wife, Roma Ashton Hebb; daughters, Mary Michelle Hebb of Brunswick and Jill Ashton Willmore of Solomons Island; sons, James Irvin Hebb of Wheatridge, Colo. and Michael Benner Hebb of Knoxville; sister, Lenora Everitts of Calisle, Pa.; grandchildren, Chad, Michael, Jessica, Adam and Andrea; and seven great-grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Iona Grams; and three brothers, Richard Hebb, Ellsworth Hebb and Carol Hebb.
     A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, at the Grace Espicopal Church, 114 East "A" St., Brunswick. Father Abraham D. Soloman will officiate.
     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702 or to Grace Espicopal Church, 114 East "A" St., Brunswick, MD 21716.
