Briefly What Happened Since Leaving School Worked for National Bureau of Standards (now NIST) for 8 years -- administrative support for 3 years, Systems Analyst for 5. Worked at a bank in Jacksonville, FL for 2 years as Management Information Analyst. Worked for financial software company in Orlando, FL for 7 years -- Product Specialist for 2 years, Software Product Manager for 5 years. Met Dave while in Orlando and got married in 1991. Went to work at a banking software company in Altanta, GA as a Technical Support Manager for one year. Had a wonderful little boy in 1997 and quit work for one year. Went back to work for the software company in Orlando as a part-time contract programmer for one year, working out of my home in Atlanta. Went to part-time permanent status with same company and have worked for them, out of my home, for the last two years. (Even with the great career I've had, being a mom is the most wonderful, exhausting, rewarding, responsible, and important job I will ever have.! |
