Duty in Mediteranean off North Africa coast, invasion of Sicily, Gela Beach, invasion of Salerno, Italy. Transferred to states Navy V-12 Prgram. Six months assigned to new USS DD 857 Bristol, operated in Pacific theater convoy escort duty to November 1945 |

Worked at Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown, MD as Engr. Draftman 1946-1963. Worked for Department of Army, Ft Ritchie, MD as Engr. Technician 1963 to 1986 when I retired. |
