| Briefly what happened since leaving school I worked in the Pentagon in the Headquarters, U. S. Air Force, for 4 years during WWII. Upon my father's death, I transferred to Ft. Detrick working in the Technical Library 21 years. I was Librarian at Prospect Hall High School and at St. Joseph's High School, Emmitsburg, two years each. I have lived on Mottar Place, in Monocacy Village and Clover Mill II, Frederick most of the time. I have traveled having been in all 50 states with th last being Alaska which was the best, I thought. I have been in Europe twice with a trip to Switzerland, Austria, Lichtenstein and Germany to the Oberammergau Passion Play. My second European trip was to the United Kingdom and Ireland. I have been to Mexico and the East and West coasts of Canada As a Southern Baptist, I have belonged to First Baptist Church, Frederick all these years, presently in the choir and have held different positions in the church through the years. I have done library work mostly. I enjoy gardening and doing genealogy. My Mother, Carrie B. C. Daniel, lived to be 9 months past 100 years. |
